Mindful Monday: Support for Your Mindfulness Practice

This group is for those who are cultivating a mindfulness practice and would like to meditate and learn with others to support their practice. It can be helpful to gather and meditate together. The group will be facilitated by Anne Allen, LMFT and Ann Brand, PhD. Both are certified mindfulness teachers. The facilitator will lead a guided meditation, give a brief talk on an aspect of mindfulness practice, and then open it up to questions about practice. No matter where you are in developing your practice, you are welcome. Please RSVP to hello@annbrandmindfulness.com due to COVID-19 management. Sliding scale $5-15.

The Boundless Heart: Living More Fully, More Fluidly, More Freely

When life presents challenge after challenge, it can be hard to see beyond the hardship in front of us. Yet even when things are difficult, the goodness of ordinary life is there in small yet meaningful ways. We can grow our capacity to see and experience it with intention and practice. In this course, we explore the heart practices of kindness, compassion, joy, and steadiness. Heart practices are a way to train the mind to be more loving, compassionate, responsive, caring, joyful, spacious, and free. These qualities support our physical, emotional, and mental well-being as well as our relationships with others. Specific tools and practices to cultivate these qualities will be explored each week to identify those that hold the most meaning and benefit for you.

90-Minute Presentation

Includes an introduction to mindfulness practice with opportunity for practice and questions.

One Day Workshops

2 HOURS – Includes an introduction to mindfulness practice with opportunity to experience different types of mindfulness practices and questions.

4-8 HOURS – Can be focused on mindfulness in education or the workplace. Includes an introduction to mindfulness practice with opportunity to experience different types of mindfulness practices and questions. Also includes opportunity for collaboration. Limited to 30 participants.

In-Depth Courses

6 WEEK COURSE – Cultivating a Mindful Life: Six-Week Course in Mindfulness Practice. This course will introduce you to practices and meditation techniques that cultivate mindfulness in our daily life. We will explore the benefits of mindfulness for emotional, mental, and physical well-being and interpersonal relationships. This six-week course will support you in establishing your own continuing mindfulness meditation practice. Each session is two hours in length. Limited to 30 participants

4 WEEK COURSE – Condensed version of the six-week course. Each session is two hours in length. Limited to 30 participants
